With the Dissemination of humans’ knowledge into Vietnam as a mission, throughout 15 years of founding and development, Thai Ha Books has been unwavering on spreading knowledge to readers across the country.

6 months since the Launching of the Viet Nam Reading Promotion Program (22/02/2022) has witnessed a range of relevant activities: the Bookshelf ATM with 62 bookshelves established at schools, offices and community organizations; the Book ATM with a monthly delivery of 220 books readers nationwide, the 91-episode-old monthly Reading Book Together Program series, connecting livestreams between authors and translators which have been through 30 episodes…

Those activities, their scales notwithstanding, all bear testimony to the relentless effort of Thai Ha Books staff. Each industrious staff member, with an ever-burning passion, unfailingly bears in mind the goal of introducing books of value to the public, and is always ready in support of the reading-promoting activities across the S-shaped country.

Right now, let us review the promoting activities in this month:

• Bookshelf ATM:

In 8 early months of 2022 only, Bookshelf ATMs have consecutively risen as a result of the yearning for the nationwide spreading of reading culture. There have been established 62 bookshelves at schools and community organizations throughout the country.

• Livestreams, talkshows and meetings over books’ themes:

Those are offline discussions with considerable attendance from domestic and foreign communities, coming for the interchange with authors, translators and specialists… In the last six months, Thai Ha Books has launched 08 livestreams, adding up to 30 episodes from its launching in 2021.

• Discussion over reading promotion, guidance and application – Reading Books Together:

On a regular basis, once per month, Thai Ha Booklover Club holds an episode of Reading Book Together, which has now been through 91 episodes and the closeness and merriment of which are extended to the young by way of an easy access.

Each meeting is a talk about reading promotion, guidance and encouragement. Every Wednesday, Doctor Nguyen Manh Hung gives direct guidance to the member of Thai Ha Booklover Club over reading and putting lessons into practice.

In retrospect of the Reading Promotion journey, Thai Ha can see a range of meaningful landmarks. Thai Ha Books would like to express our felicity and appreciation for having the chance to join our readers. Hopefully, in the future we can continue accompanying nationwide booklovers on the journey of “the knowledge disseminator”.
