On 22 June 2026, amid the joyful atmosphere of the summer solstice – a special occasion closely associated with the company’s founding – Thai Ha Books officially celebrated its 19th anniversary, continuing to embrace the spirit of “CREATION AND INNOVATION”.

This was not only an opportunity for all employees to reflect on nearly two decades of growth and development, but also a meaningful milestone marking new progress towards fulfilling the company’s vision and mission of serving society through knowledge.

INAUGURATION OF THE HANOI WAREHOUSE – A NEW MILESTONE IN THAI HA BOOKS’ DEVELOPMENT

The celebrations marking Thai Ha Books’ 19th anniversary began with the inauguration of its Hanoi Warehouse, a project brought to life through the dedication, aspirations and perseverance of the entire Thai Ha Books team.

Over 19 years of development, from its challenging early days, Thai Ha Books has gradually established an increasingly comprehensive infrastructure, with two buildings in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The opening of the Hanoi Warehouse will facilitate book storage, operations and distribution, meeting the company’s growing needs as it enters a new phase of development.

The Hanoi Warehouse will support business operations, improve the efficiency of services provided to customers and partners, and lay the groundwork for Thai Ha Books’ future development plans. It also represents an important step in preparing for the construction of a warehouse in Ho Chi Minh City, as the company approaches its 20th anniversary.

During the inauguration ceremony, Thai Ha Books’ Board of Management also announced the establishment of four new centres:

• Publishing Cooperation Centre
• Authors and Works Copyright Centre
• Special Books Centre
• Vietnamese Books 2045 Centre

At the ceremony, Dr Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of Thai Ha Books, shared the company’s strategic direction for the next stage of its development. He emphasised that Thai Ha Books would no longer simply be an organisation seeking new paths; instead, every member would contribute to building those paths together. Building on its achievements, Thai Ha Books aims to achieve sustainable growth in Vietnam while pursuing its ambition to expand internationally, enter larger markets and promote reading culture more widely.

The establishment of these centres reflects Thai Ha Books’ strategic priorities for the coming years: strengthening publishing partnerships, protecting and effectively developing the value of intellectual property rights, expanding specialised book categories, and contributing to the development of book collections and a knowledge ecosystem for the future. This important milestone demonstrates that the spirit of “building new paths” extends beyond physical infrastructure. It also encompasses expanding the company’s operating model, strengthening professional capabilities and establishing a solid foundation for its ambitious journey towards its 20th anniversary.

The ceremony was further enriched by the sounds of traditional drums and a distinctive Thai Binh Cheo folk opera performance, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and deeply moving. The familiar melodies of Vietnamese folk culture offered a heartfelt birthday tribute, conveying hopes for a new chapter filled with favourable opportunities, smooth progress and prosperity.

BRINGING NORTH AND SOUTH TOGETHER – THE 19TH ANNIVERSARY GALA

Immediately following the Hanoi Warehouse inauguration, ThaiHaBookers from both northern and southern Vietnam gathered for a retreat and team-bonding trip to Tuan Chau, Ha Long, continuing the celebrations of Thai Ha Books’ 19th anniversary.

Against the breathtaking natural scenery of Ha Long, team members had the opportunity to connect, share experiences and strengthen their relationships. Geographical distances seemed to disappear as everyone joined in group activities, creating unforgettable memories together as part of the Thai Ha Books family.

That evening, the 19th Anniversary Gala took place in a warm and emotional atmosphere. The entire Thai Ha Books family looked back on nearly two decades of development and the many milestones that have shaped its journey, from the earliest days of sowing the seeds of knowledge to the achievements celebrated today.

Heartfelt reflections, stories of shared experiences and memorable moments made the evening especially meaningful. More than a birthday celebration, the gala dinner provided an opportunity for colleagues to deepen their understanding of one another, strengthen their bonds and continue nurturing the spirit of unity that defines the Thai Ha Books family.

A particular highlight of the anniversary celebrations was the team-building programme in Tuan Chau, which became one of the most memorable bonding experiences of the entire occasion. Participants were divided into teams without distinction between the northern and southern offices. They worked together, supported one another and enthusiastically cheered each other on through every challenge. Laughter, teamwork and the remarkable solidarity of the ThaiHaBookers created a lively, warm and emotional atmosphere. It was truly an exceptional team-bonding experience, bringing colleagues closer together and allowing everyone to feel more deeply the spirit of belonging to the Thai Ha Books family.

HONOURING THOSE WHO HAVE STOOD BY THAI HA BOOKS THROUGH THE YEARS

One of the most touching highlights of the 19th Anniversary Gala was the ceremony honouring individuals who have dedicated many years of loyal service to Thai Ha Books.

Three employees who had each completed ten years with the company received Appreciation Trophies in recognition of their quiet yet invaluable contributions to its growth and success.

In addition, four team members who had worked for the company for seven years or more were presented with insurance benefits as a practical expression of gratitude, reflecting the management’s commitment to their well-being and peace of mind.

Each award recognised not only years of dedication but also the values of Thai Ha Books as a “Happy Company” – a workplace where every individual is valued, cared for and given opportunities to grow, while working together to spread knowledge and positive values throughout the community.
