On May 18–19, 2026, Thai Ha Books participated in K-Book Market in Hanoi 2026 – a professional publishing business-matching program organized by the Korea Publishers Association (KPIPA), with the support and coordination of 25Agency (Vietnam).

The event brought together 20 leading Korean publishing houses, creating a space for in-depth exchanges between Vietnamese and Korean publishers through pre-arranged 1:1 meetings. It was an opportunity for all parties to discuss market trends, readers’ demands, copyright collaboration opportunities, and the development of future publishing projects.
During the event, Thai Ha Books had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with several Korean publishers, including Seosawon, ParkYoung Publishing, and KSI (Korean Studies Information), in order to gain deeper insights into the publishing market and reading culture preferences of readers in both Vietnam and South Korea.

The meetings also marked a meaningful reunion, nearly one year after Thai Ha Books attended K-Book Market in Seoul 2025. Conversations went beyond books and copyright discussions; they became moments of reflection, opening up new perspectives on the ongoing changes within the publishing industry today.
Alongside the activities at K-Book Market, on the morning of May 19, 2026, Thai Ha Books also welcomed representatives from Amarin Group (Thailand) at its Hanoi office.
The two sides discussed Translation Grants for works translated from Thai into Vietnamese, while also sharing common thoughts about the current publishing landscape in both countries. Discussions included how business and management books can better identify and reach their target readership, how psychology titles can create stronger emotional connections through more thoughtfully designed publishing products, and especially how children’s books can be developed with deeper content and sustainable educational values.

This year also marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand. Sometimes, the most lasting connections begin with simple conversations around a tea table among people who share the same love for books.
Thai Ha Books also introduced international partners to its ongoing journey of bringing works by Vietnamese authors to major international book fairs over the years. For Thai Ha Books, every international exchange is not only an opportunity for copyright cooperation, but also a way to promote reading culture, Vietnamese people, and Vietnamese values to the world.

At a time when the publishing industry is undergoing rapid changes, international networking activities continue to play an important role in creating opportunities for collaboration, fostering cultural exchange, and spreading positive values through books.
